USS Rafael Peralta to visit Thailand
The USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) will make a scheduled visit to Thailand June 25-29, 2023. U.S. Navy port visits are an opportunity to strengthen the U.S.-Thai security partnership and advance people-to-people ties. During the visit, Rafael Peralta leadership will conduct meetings with counterparts in the Royal Thai Navy. The visit also provides an opportunity for U.S. Sailors to explore the local culture and participate in community relations projects.
Led by Cmdr. Charles Cooper, the Rafael Peralta departed Yokosuka, Japan, for a routine deployment in May 2023. Since then, the Rafael Peralta has participated in several joint and integrated training operations with partners and allies across the region.
The ship will not be open for public tours while pier side in Thailand.
