U.S. Embassy Bangkok officially launches No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All project with the ASA Group in Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand!
In collaboration with long-term strategic project partner U.S. Embassy, ASA recently launched the No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All project at Kaennakornwittayalai School in Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand. With the US Embassy CDA, Peter Haymond together with the Governor of Khon Kaen in attendance, ASA showcased the Inclusive Sports-based Women Empowerment programming activities with 35 inclusive school teacher trainer stakeholders together with a group of 100 male (25%) and female (75%) students with and without disabilities.
The program had earlier subjected the 35 inclusive school teacher trainer stakeholders to an intensive 3-day Training of Trainer (ToT) Master Trainer program which had empowered them to deliver inclusive sports-based women empowerment, gender equality education together with important life skills values to male and female youth with and without disabilities.
The trainer stakeholders are currently implementing the programming activities to male and female youth with and without disabilities in their respective inclusive and special needs schools on a weekly basis with regular ASA monitoring and evaluation together with mentoring activities.

U.S. Embassy, together with long-term strategic project partner, the ASA Group, recently conducted an on-site M&E visit to Khon Kaen, N.E. Thailand in order to assess teacher trainer and student stakeholders for the No Limits, Inclusive Sports for All! – Inclusive Sports-based Women Empowerment & Life Skills Education Development project.
ASA and the U.S. Embassy visited a total of 16 teacher trainers together with over 300 male and female youth with disabilities from the Autistic, Deaf and District 9 schools in Khon Kaen. It was fantastic to see the teacher trainer stakeholders understanding and implementing the ASA inclusive sports-based education methodologies and the youth beneficiaries highly engaged and motivated by the programming activities!
