U.S. Mission to Thailand Donates Education and Medical Equipment to Schools and Hospitals in Northern Thailand

From July 10-14, the U.S. Mission to Thailand Civil Affairs team organized a donation of generators, solar panels, computers, and furniture to the Kho Prae Border Patrol Police School in Mae Hong Son province; 76 air purifiers and 18 CO2 detectors to 19 schools throughout Chiang Mai province; and defibrillators, ECG machines and patient monitors to the Mae On Hospital in Chiang Mai.  Consul General Lisa Buzenas presided over the three donation ceremonies with local partners, demonstrating the long-standing U.S. commitment to improving education, the environment, and public health in northern Thailand.
