U.S. Donates 50,000 Rabies Vaccines Supporting Thailand to Reach Its Goal of Eliminating Rabies by 2020

U.S. Ambassador Glyn T. Davies offered a donation of 50,000 rabies vaccines to Thailand’s Department of Livestock Development to support Thailand to reach its goal of eliminating rabies by 2020. The donation, made on behalf of the U.S. Government through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), highlights continued collaboration in public health between the United States and Thailand as the two countries celebrate 200 years of friendship in 2018.
