U.S. Citizen Services

Welcome to Mission Thailand’s American Citizens Services (ACS) Section!

The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok and the U.S. Consulate General in Chiang Mai provide a variety of routine services, including passport assistance, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, citizenship renunciation, and notarial services. We also can assist U.S. citizens in emergency situations, including deaths, arrests, and times of crisis. For information about visas to the United States, please visit our visa page.

To get started, please use our ACS Navigator to find resources, information, and services offered by U.S. Mission Thailand.

We do not provide walk-in services. All routine consular services, including passport applications, notarizations, and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, require an appointment. Please use this link to request an appointment: Appointment Requests.
