Will Barton of the Denver Nuggets and Jr. NBA Head Coach Chris Summer conducted an NBA Cares Basketball Clinic for Wat Chaimongkol School students on July 13, 2016 to promote an active lifestyle among children; and teach them leadership, cooperation, and communication skills that help young people to succeed in all areas of their lives. This sports diplomacy uses the universal passion for sports as a way to transcend differences and bring people together. The students learned from Coach Chris and NBA Player Will Barton basic basketball skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, and then played a fun basketball game with them. All of the students had a great time.
