The AWE program was established by the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) in 2018 to focus on women and economic empowerment. The program provides women entrepreneurs around the world with tools, resources, and networks to fulfill their economic potential, creating conditions for increased stability, security, and prosperity.
