Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Peter Haymond visited the International law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Bangkok on August 8 to express his appreciation to the Royal Thai Police for their support and hard work. DCM Haymond also congratulated ILEA Staff for receiving a Royal Thai Government Public Service Award for Excellence in Training. General Panuwit Thongyim, ILEA Executive Director, thanked the DCM for U.S. government support. During his trip to the academy, DCM Haymond met with visiting instructors from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Diplomatic Security Service, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
