Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink Visits Bangkok

On December 3, Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink was in Bangkok to strengthen the United States’ partnership with Thailand. Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink, who leads the State Department’s Bureau of East Asian and the Pacific Affairs, met with humanitarian partners, academics, and senior Thai officials, including National Security Council Secretary-General Gen. Supot Malaniyom, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Varawut Silpa-archa, and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Thani Thongpakdi, to discuss COVID-19 recovery efforts, climate change, and humanitarian assistance for the people of Burma.
