On August 17, 2017, Chargé d’Affaires Peter Haymond spoke at the Agricultural Innovation for Resiliency conference. Organized by USDA and USAID Asia , the conference gathered experts and government officials from around the region to share international best practices and tools for boosting agricultural resiliency. Increased agricultural innovation and resiliency have the potential to strengthen food security and raise farm incomes throughout the region.
